Hop Oils and Emulsions
Hops are a well known ingredient for brewing of beer. In addition to their role in creating the distinct bitterness and aroma of beer, hops also contain a variety of compounds that can have beneficial effects on health. EVG is excited to offer water-soluble liquid hop oils in several distinct varieties. This concentrated solution of the compounds found in hops can be easily dissolved in any liquid to add the flavoring or aroma of fresh hops into in variety of beverages, including craft beers. Using EVG's state of the art Terpex extraction method, the resulting extract is highly concentrated, with a strong hop aroma and flavor. Due to its water solubility, the liquid can be easily added to a variety of products, including teas, energy drinks, seltzers, and other beverages.
